Data Privacy Day is part of a global effort to generate awareness about the importance of privacy. The National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) works year-round to educate people on protecting personal information and show organizations that privacy is good for business.

This year NCSA is encouraging people to learn more about how to protect valuable data online. It’s also encouraging businesses to respect privacy by keeping individuals’ personal information safe from unauthorized access and ensuring fair, relevant and legitimate data collection and processing.
